Katarzyna Karcz was born in 1989 in Gliwice/Poland. In 2008 she graduated the "Stanislaw Moniuszko" School in Bielsko-Biala/Poland. Since 2008 she is studying at the Music Unversity of Vienna/Austria at Prof. Wofgang Klos and Urlich Schönauer class. As a young talent, in 2007 she got a scholarship for Orchestra and Chamber Music Masterclass in USA (Idyllwild Arts). From this time she started to develop her orchestral experience. Since 2013 she plays as Solo Viola with Wiener Jeunesse Orchester, in years 2012-2013 she was a member of Orchester Akademie Ossiach. In 2014 and 2015 she was a member of ORFF-Akademie of the Munich Radio Orchestra. She also gained her experience by playing with other orchestras, such as: European Philharmonic Orchestra, Ensemble Wien Klang, Camerata Orphica, Camerata Vienna, Weber Symphonie Orchestra.

 Katarzyna is also improving her playing with different chamber ensembles. She was working together with great musicians, such as: Franz Bartolomey (Solo Cellist Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra), Prof. Wolfgang Klos, Piotr Szumiel, Prof. Gernot Winischhofer, Robert Lehrbaumer, Prof. Anna Gutowska. She played as a Solist together with Prof. Gernot Winischhofer and Camerata Vienna (Sinfonia Concertante, W.A. Mozart). In Summer 2013 she was a finalist of the 9th International Music Competition Euroregion in Udine, Italy.
